Jetting off on holiday? Heading on tour with the band? Going abroad to complete a photography project?

Whatever you’re headed to the airport for; you know it’s going to be a hectic few hours. To help, we’ve put together a list of things to do before setting off to make sure that everything goes swimmingly (as possible)

Paperwork – If there’s one thing you can’t forget when headed to the airport it’s your paper work. You need to prove who you are and where you’re headed after all. Buy a folder so that you can keep all those documents on you while you wander the airport.

Because losing them is going to put the whole journey in jeopardy.

Money – As we said, airports are hectic and chaos can make you hungry. Take some small cash with you to the airport. You never know if your flight is going to be delayed or how hungry you’re going to be queuing up to have your bags checked in.

Take your cards too!

Make your luggage stand out

We’ve all been there. We get off the plane in a hot and sunny climate and head to the bag carousel only to find out everyone brought the same suitcase along with them.

Before you set off, find some stickers, or something personal to you that you can put on the bags. That way, you’ll be able to pick yours out from a crowd straight away.

Valuables

Stuff like your mobile phone and camera you’ll probably want with you on the flight, so pack those in your hand luggage. But if you’re travelling with larger valuables you’re going to have to make sure that they’re packed away securely.

Here at The Flight Case Company we offer a huge variety of cases for a whole host of different types of gear. From cameras to guitars we can make sure that your beloved possession is safe onboard.

Turn it off

You don’t want to return home to a huge bill do you? Turn off all the electrical equipment at home before you set out for the airport. Otherwise you’re going to pull in a hefty bill. Give an entrusted neighbour a spare key so that they can stop by and check everything is okay.

Make sure you lock everything up too!
